HR-3689 : Still Just a Bill


The "Treatment, Recovery, Education, Awareness, and Training for Youth Act," or H.R. 3689, proposes to reauthorize a youth prevention and recovery initiative.
This legislation amends Section 7102(c)(9) of the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act to extend the authorization of appropriations for this initiative.
Specifically, the TREAT Youth Act authorizes the following funding levels:

  • $10,000,000 for fiscal year 2026
  • $12,000,000 for fiscal year 2027
  • $13,000,000 for fiscal year 2028
  • $14,000,000 for fiscal year 2029
  • $15,000,000 for fiscal year 2030
