HR-1794 : Still Just a Bill

The "United States-Abraham Accords Cooperation and Security Act of 2025" (H.R. 1794) amends the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to enhance cooperation with countries that have signed the Abraham Accords Declaration.

  • Facilitate interactions between the FDA and interested parties in Abraham Accords countries, sharing information on U.S. regulatory pathways and gathering feedback on product research, development, and manufacturing.
• Report to Congress: Requires the Secretary of Health and Human Services to submit a report to Congress within three years, evaluating the Office's progress, summarizing technical assistance provided, and offering recommendations for improved coordination between the FDA and entities in Abraham Accords countries.
• National Security: Ensures that all actions taken under this section are consistent with national security recommendations.
