S-2933 : Still Just a Bill

The "Safe Response Act," or S. 2933, seeks to reauthorize the program for first responder training. Specifically, the bill amends Section 546(h) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 290ee-1(h)) by increasing the funding allocation. The bill replaces the previous allocation of $36,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 2019 through 2023 with $57,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 2024 through 2028.
