HRES-1486 : Still Just a Bill


This resolution sets forth the rule for consideration of multiple measures:

  • the bill (H.R. 3334) to provide for the imposition of sanctions on members of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party;
  • the bill (H.R. 8205) to amend the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to provide that funds for the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant program may be used for public safety report systems;
  • the bill (H.R. 8790) to expedite the review of certain forest management projects under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969 and improve forest management activities on National Forest System lands, public lands under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Land Management, and tribal lands;
  • the resolution (H.Res. 1469) to ensure accountability for key officials in the Biden-Harris administration responsible for decision-making and execution failures throughout the withdrawal from Afghanistan; and
  • an amendment to H.Res. 5, which established the rules of the House of Representatives for the 118th Congress, to modify the rule for the remote appearance of witnesses.
