• Intelligence Community Directive Update: Mandates updating Intelligence Community Directive 208 to address:
  • Production and dissemination of unclassified intelligence products from open-source intelligence.
  • Needs of covered individuals without security clearances.
• Definitions:
  • Covered individual: A Federal Government employee, not within the intelligence community, who would benefit from open-source intelligence.
  • Covered open-source intelligence product: An unclassified product derived from open-source intelligence produced by the intelligence community.
