Protecting Patients Transportation to Care Act

This bill provides statutory authority for the requirement that state Medicaid programs cover nonemergency transportation to medically necessary services. The bill also requires programs, as a condition of federal payment for such transportation services, to have a prior authorization or utilization management requirement for such services.
