HR-2255 : Still Just a Bill

This bill requires certification, to the Department of Defense and the Department of Housing and Urban Development, by the military departments of whether housing for military personnel complies with requirements of the Toxic Substances Control Act regarding lead-based paint hazards at federal facilities.

Political appointees in military departments that have failed to meet the certification requirements may not receive bonus pay.
