Eliminating Kickbacks in Recovery Act of 2018

This bill amends the federal criminal code make it a crime to knowingly and willfully solicit, receive, pay, or offer payment for referrals to a recovery home, clinical treatment facility, or laboratory, subject to limitations.

A violator is subject to criminal penalties—a fine, a prison term of up to 10 years, or both.
