This bill amends specified military land withdrawal Acts to provide for indefinite duration of certain military land withdrawals and reservations and to provide public information on the management of such lands.
The Departments of the Navy and the Interior shall establish an intergovernmental executive committee for the sole purpose of exchanging views, information, and advice relating to the management of the natural and cultural resources of lands withdrawn and reserved.
The bill requires a determination of the continuing military need for withdrawal and reservation of lands at least every five years and public reports describing any changes in the condition of the lands withdrawn and reserved.
