HR-4240 : Still Just a Bill

Public Safety and Second Amendment Rights Protection Act of 2017

This bill modifies various provisions of federal firearms laws.

Among other things, it does the following:

  • requires states to implement plans to improve the submission of mental health and criminal history records to the national instant criminal background check system.
