S-1053 : Still Just a Bill


This bill amends the National Energy Conservation Policy Act to authorize federal agencies to participate in programs conducted by utilities that support the use of alternative fueled vehicles or the fueling or charging infrastructure necessary for those vehicles.

Agencies may also enter into energy savings performance contracts for designing, acquiring, installing, testing, operating, maintaining, and repairing a measure to support the use of those vehicles or their infrastructure.
