S-1309 : Still Just a Bill

Withdraws from all forms of appropriation under the public land laws public lands and interests with respect to: (1) the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake in Inyo, Kern, and San Bernardino Counties, California; (2) the Limestone Hills Training Area in Broadwater County, Montana; (3) the Chocolate Mountain Aerial Gunnery Range in Imperial and Riverside Counties, California; and (4) the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in San Bernardino County, California. Reserves the withdrawn lands for specified military and/or non-military uses.

Requires the Secretary of the Army and the Secretary of the Navy to maintain a program of decontamination of contamination caused by defense-related uses on the reserved and withdrawn lands.
